Guidelines for Borrowing and Use
• Objects borrowed from the TNP Tool and Knowledge Library must be checked out from the TNP myTurn service desk and kiosk. If you need assistance, please ask and we can help.
• A valid government-issued ID with picture and current address must be presented when the first reservation is picked up. Personnel will make a photocopy and retain it with this agreement prior to TNP Tool and Knowledge Library myTurn checkout. If the address on the ID and account do not match, you will be asked to validate your account by bringing proof of address. Proof of address is valid up to a year.
• Borrowers must be 18 years of age or older.
• Borrowers must read, understand, and sign this Agreement at the myTurn Service Desk/Kiosk in the presence of a staff member for every checkout.
Time Limits and Availability
A box/kit may be borrowed for 1 week and may be renewed up to 6 times consecutively unless another borrower is waiting. Customers may borrow 2 items at a time. Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership has the right to extend time limits for borrowed items as long as they are not requested as part of our waiting list.
Liability
The responsibility to protect against loss is the borrowers.
Proper Care and Use
• As with any tool, use care when handling.
• Return the box/kit/tools with all parts and components. Tools must be cleaned and returned with no undamaged other than reasonable wear and tear from appropriate use.
TNP Tool and Library LENDING AGREEMENT and WAIVER

agree:
• To abide by TNP Tool and Knowledge Library Lending guidelines as stated above.
In consideration of being permitted to borrow the box/kit, I hereby voluntarily waive, release, and discharge and covenant not to sue Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership, its respective successors, assigns, officers, agents, employees, and volunteer (hereafter referred to as “Releasees”) from any and all claims, actions or demands of any kind, nature and description, including claims or actions for damages for death, personal injury, or property damage and from any and all liabilities, damages, injuries, actions or causes of action either at law or in equity, whether caused by any defect in the box/kit, negligent act or omission of the Releasees, or otherwise arising out of or in any way related to or connected with my borrowing the boxes/kits. I have read the entire document and my signature below indicates my agreement with the above statements.
